Sadly, not every restaurant accomodates our 4 legged friends but the cafes that do are worth visiting this summer.

We’ve listed the top 10 cafes around Canada that will happily serve you and your best friend at the same time.

 

1. Williams Coffee Pub

Enjoy a snack or meal with your dog in Toronto’s first pet-friendly indoor and outdoor seating area. The extensive food menu features breakfast all day, hot pressed paninis, sesame tuna rolls, Cobb salad, chicken quesadillas, and crispy thin pizza.

 

2. Thor Espresso Bar

Thor Espresso Bar is a laid back indie espresso bar where you’ll find top tier espresso and espresso drinks as well as yummy gourmet pastries. Your pets are welcomed on the patio and will be offer a water bowl that is refreshed throughout the day. Sadly, Toronto by-laws does not permit pets indoors.

 

3. Sassafraz

Sassafraz Restaurant offers pumpkin gnocchi, almond crusted tiger shrimp, ancho braised lamb tacos, and a variety of specialty cocktails. Outdoor seating is very limited but dogs are welcomed with a bowl of cool water.

 

4. WAG Cafe & Pet Lounge

Enjoy a latte or housemade lemonade while perusing the amazing items available for humans, K9s, and kitties. Dogs are welcome to join their owners inside.

 

5. Shore Grill & Grotto

Allows dogs, has dog bowls for all patio tables and has a dog “parking” station.

 

6. Beacon Hill Drive-In

Beacon Hill offers much more than their famous soft serve ice cream and sundaes. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner delights such as pancakes, bacon cheeseburgers, oyster burgers, club sandwiches, chicken fingers, and milkshakes. Tables on the outside of the fence are dog-friendly.

 

7. Le Doggy Café

Le Doggy Café is the only restaurant in Montreal that welcomes both humans and dogs. They serve vegetarian and vegan food, give dog training classes, workshops and host adoption days.

Wandering Moose is a funky little coffee shop in the old post office building. Serving coffees, gelato, wraps, sandwiches, muffins and more. Dogs are welcomed on the outside patio.
